ECA Report: Two or more diploma or degree option

Hi All,

I did 3-year diploma in mechanical engineering and 1-year Diploma in CAD Designing. Both diplomas are after secondary School from India.

I got my ECA report which states a 2 year Diploma with only 3-year diploma evaluation. However, I didn't submit my another diploma during evaluation. If I add 1-year diploma to my current evaluation report. Will it increase my level of studies to gain more points for express entry?

WES probably within 2 months. IQAS may take anywhere from 4-6 months

Would WES ECA recognize An online diploma issued from the American University in Cairo ( its 18 or more credit hours diploma studied through 12-18 months - Professional Diploma in Pro-green Technologies. The diploma carries the names of all three institutions ( AUC - AUB - LAU ) and is signed by the Dean and the Registrar of the institution through which I applied to ( AUC ) ??????

I already have A bachelor degree in engineering and got it evaluated as ( bachelor degree 4 years )

I am a holder of 4-year full-time Bachelor Degree and a postgraduate diploma at University of Hong Kong, School of Professional and Continuing Education (not full-time)
Can I choose "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years" for the level of education section?

Hello all!

I'm in a quandary regarding my ECA. I've a 4-year Bachelor's degree and a Diploma of one year in a specialised area ( the eligibility for applying this diploma is a degree but it's not titled as a PG diploma). Can the above combination be calculated as "Two or more degrees/certificates/diplomas..." Under the EE programme? Please help!

Hi All,

I have sent a query regarding this to WES and they reevaluated my credentials and issued a new report stating my summary as Diploma 2 Years and Bachelors Four Years. Now i can choose two or more option without any doubt.

Could you please let me know if you got PR by claiming points for two or more certificates??? i have also got confusion regarding two or more certificates i have got my WES & IELTS done. WES Summary - Diploma (2 years) and Bachelor's Degree(4 years) I have done 3 years diploma after 10th followed by, Bachelors in Engineering joining as lateral in 2nd year. IELTS L -8.5, R -9.0, W -7.0, S -7.0 with two or more certificates my CRS is 443 with Bachelors my CRS is 410 kindly help me asap with an answer. literally confused.

Hello Brother. Did you get the points for 2 degrees/diploma ? Because my lawyer said that diploma of 2 years will not earn you any extra points unless it is done after bachelors and must have bachelors as prerequisite.

Did you find an answer to this?? I'm with 10+3+3 and my CRS will 443 with two or more option. Kindly help

Your lawyer is wrong.

I did diploma before my degree and still got awarded two or more certificates category.

You don't choose the option "two or more certificates" in EE profile like the calculator. You just put the info (as per WES) and it will automatically give you the points for that category.

Thanks, Yes it does calculate, will it become a problem at the later point may be after ITA?? Will there be challenges during background checks for 10+3+3??

The most important thing is get the ECA done and then fill the EE profile according to the ECA report. If you do that, there will be no issues in this regard.

I have got my ECA done.

The WES Summary says "Diploma(2 years) and Bachelors Degree(4 years)"


So while creating profile, when i add my Education details, should I mention my Diploma course duration as 3 years or 2 years?
Also my Bachelors as 3 years or 4 years??

I have done Engineering joining in 2nd year as lateral entry.

If you could clarify this as well, i will be really grateful!
