Hello all! I've been using resources like this forum to move to Canada and successfully did that last month. I've now started work and was wondering - is there an easy way to know exactly how much tax/other charges I will pay? Back in the UK I used an online tax calculator which was always correct unless someone at work messed up my tax code/amounts - is there anything similar for Canada? Thanks in advance

For anyone interested - here's the link to the calculator I used to use: https://www.income-tax.co.uk/ . Might be of use to someone in the future :)

You can easily find a calculator through google. Taxes vary from province to province so you'll need to make sure you find one that's specific to the province you are living in.

I totally understand the UK tax code nightmare haha I’ve been on the phone with HMRC a log in the last 15 years . Canadian taxes on the other hand see even more complicated but as someone said it varies between provinces . If you find a good calculator for Ontario pls post a link here
