Hi all,

till yesterday my e-CAS status showed - "CIO-Eligibility Review Complete", but when I checked my status today, it says

i'm surprised. is this normal behavior? or does it mean something?

Probably you entered wrong username & password (whatever information you put to login)....or maybe when you were trying to access it the server was down then.

Just a guess.......maybe Seniors can say something on this.

Hi,

Check the thread initiated by swaps82. He and I got the same case as yours. But swaps82's status came back updated after 1 day e cas says it cant identify his name. So dont worry you will soon see an updated e cas that says your full application has been received and is now pending for review.

perhaps you checked while they were updating on monday night (canadian time).

no luck as yet..

maybe I need to try tomorrow.

I think your status is being changed as i also experienced this error. When error was over my status was changed.

okie.. thanks rigmarole...

this is encouraging...

how many days did it take for the error to get over?

hi aanbaan,

we're on the same boat. i am receiving the same message since yesterday. i really hope they are updating our status with good news.

eCAs is up again. YESSS!

It now says local visa office received my application and supporting documents and is pending review.

More hurdles to overcome, at least we got passed by one.

Try to check your eCas now and see if you can access it.

Most likely an update is being done. Give it 2-3 days and try again.

Updates are done Tuesday from local CHC and linked to main data storage in NS Canada. This could be the most probable reason for such a message. Try it tomorrow and everything should be normal.

Best of luck.

Man J.

so it really is normal behavior, indeed..

my status today changed to "Received by Visa Office" and details say
"We received your application for permanent residence on April 23, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 13, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on May 20, 2009. The New Delhi office may contact you. "

this sums up my timelines so far...

thanks everyone for your responses and support...
