E-CAS status changed... "A decision has been made on your application."

could you please advise on how long does it take to hear from immigration (CPP-Ottawa) once it says "decision made" on their web site?

Longest I've seen is 8 weeks.

Do you get email notification when your ecas status change? or we have to check like everyday?

Guys, I made some online research regarding E-cas and some comments that I found got me worried. Any one has an idea about what the possibilities would be ?

here is my time line :
We received your application for permanent residence on November 22, 2012.
We started processing your application on April 3, 2013.
Medical results have been received.(March 25,2013)
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.(May 13, 2013)

I was just worried about some cases that were rejected after they got their status changed .. but I guess their status changed before their Med exams were received.

I hope I am safe on this case ?
