Hello everyone, I have a question while filling the below question in online citizenship application , please suggest for Q1, Q2 and Q3?
During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status before becoming a permanent resident?
Answer : yes
temporary resident status
Answer : Tempory resident permit holder Or Temporary foreign worker
( Q1. Which one is correct for closed work permit ?? I was holding a closed work permit before becoming a PR. )
Date you received the status : July 15, 2019
Date your status expired: April 15 , 2021 (date mentioned on my WP)
However, between July 15, 2019 and April 25, 2021, I applied for WP extension and PR .
PR approval date : June 24 2021
WP extension applied date : January 15 2021
WP withdrawal date : July 20 2021 ( WP was withdrawn after receiving my PR)
I received a letter after I applied WP extension as proof that you are authorized to continue working with the same conditions (ie: employer and occupation) until May 24, 2021 or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first.
There is a question in the CIC website:
Did you apply to extend your status?
Aanswer : yes
Date you applied to extend your status?
Answer : January 15 2021
Was the extension approved?
Q2. What should be my Answer here , Yes or No . ?
Because my WP was withdrawn nether approved not rejected
Date of decision for the refused extension?
Q3. What should be the date here Is it one day before the PR approval date ? Or something else based on above dates please suggest for Q1, Q2 and Q3
