During PR process Got USA Visa.. Need Help

Good Day All,

I am CEC Applicant my PR is in process, in this time I got USA visa and also I went USA for visit. My question is..

Is this is required to tell CIC that I got USA Visa and I went there too for some days ??
Also I just renew my passport so I have to send my new passport information to CIC anyway.

You have to update CIC in case any of the following point applies to you other then this you are good.

• Have you married or divorced?
• Have you given birth or adopted a child?
• Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?
• Do you intend to give birth or adopt a child prior to becoming a permanent resident?
• Have you changed your contact information: e-mail address/mailing address/telephone number?

So, no updates required for the USA visa

I received the new passport during my CEC application in process. I called at the CIC call center and they told no updates required at this time. But, I updated CIC with the scan copy of new passport but no reply received from them. So its up to you.

I believe on your AOR it says the same thing too so there is nothing more to suggest.

You only need to update CIC on these cases:

• Have you married or divorced?

i think at this stage no need to update anything to CIC. I would suggest to send scan copy of your new passport through email to CIC.
