Hello guys,
Can anyone tell me how long it takes for PR card to be sent to me by mail after landing on PR in Canada?

Can i travel to other provinces after I get my PR card?

Pls help. thanks

Current processing time for new PR cards is 129 days.

You can travel to any province you want after you've landed, you don't need a PR card to do that.

So it won’t be anywhere earlier than that? I learnt some people saying it can come in about a week or so?

It can come at any time, the processing time is just indicative.

But it depends on where it's getting processed.

If you're outland and you're landing in Canada, your PR card is most likely getting made in Sydney, NS, and there's a big backlog there because of covid. If you're inland you'll probably get it sooner because it usually gets processed elsewhere.

What about if I am landing in Winnepeg. Normally how long does it take?
