Is it possible to get a duplicate PR card. I heard if the original is lost, it is hard to get another one. Kindly let me know.

If you mean a replacement PR card, it's not hard. You just follow the application process.

Duplicate cards would often be used for fraudulent purposes so that is why duplicates aren’t granted. When getting a replacement card you have to swear that is actually lost.
