Does anyone have any experience with DUI charges which were expunged, and immigrating/working in Canada?
There was an arrest and charge, but the state accelerated rehab disposition protocol was used, where there was no conviction, and there are documents stating that probation was completed and the charges were dismissed and expunged by the state.
Obviously the arrest has to be disclosed, but according to the ENF manual, expungements are equivalent to be “deemed to have never occurred”.
Anyone have any experience with successful completion of the immigration/work visa processs with an expunged DUI?
