Hi
I managed to secure a H1B position on the border and plan to live on the Canadian side to satisfy my PR requirements. How do I prove significant presence in Canada when it's time to file for citizenship? Can my entries to Canada be printed off from a CBSA website or will they provide a log of my entry/ exit? How have others accomplished this?
Also there is no record when leaving Canada as it's only the US checkpost when leaving...so how to document exit?
TIA

CBSA shares records of entry/exit with US and cbsa entry/exit verification is part of application process and you dont need to prove anything with records of entry/exit.
Just stay in windsor and commute to US and then later apply for citizenship. Things will be fine.

Of course still your responsibility to keep your own log of your exits/entries regardless of the official records that might be available. Assume you know anyway that even a single minute in Canada counts as a full day presence so if on a daily commute whilst physically leaving Canada and coming back same day it is a net zero. Still need to keep track though
