Lmao Canada is a 'at-will' employment country. No one can force you to work, you are also not a seasonal worker. Sounds like you are being exploited by some South Asian immigrant manager who has guilt-tripped you. I may be wrong but I see this all the time

I wouldn't bring race into it. I've been guilt-tripped into not leaving before by a white Canadian manager, an Asian-Australian manager, a white Australian manager, and some of the most racist antics I've ever come across have typically been from Aussies who often look at anyone who isn't white in both personal and professional spaces as beneath them and not worth their time or eye contact.
