Hi All,

Any inputs are appreciated.
I am a citizen of Philippines but a permanent resident of Singapore for almost 10 years.
I will be landing in Canada from Singapore.
I have a valid Philippine Driving License.
I have a valid Singapore Driving License.
Question is , can I apply International Driving Permit under Singapore and used it to drive while waiting for my G1/G2 tests , in case after 3 months?

Thanks.

If you are landing as a PR, you will only have a very limited period of time when you are able to legally use a foreign driver's licence. Check with the provincial government websites where you are residing. I believe that Ontario only allows 60 days for example. (https://www.ontario.ca/page/exchange-out-province-drivers-licence)
