I am also a Drilling Engineer and planning to land in Calgary in September, 2010. To my research the market is not firm and depends on demand and qualification, some drilling engineers with directional drilling back ground have more chances than the others, any how please share if you have any feed back from any corner.
it is all dependent on individual work experience and relevant exprience in Canada and also canadian qualifications, without either of these, will be hard and almost impossible.
