Doubts regarding study permit

Hello all

I have 15 year of education and not 16 years so i am not eligible to do MBA or Masters right away, so i have taken a PG diploma in Ontario in Human Resource management for Sept 2017 intake. I have few doubts i hope people here can answer me i will be very thankful.

1)If i want to study for one more year or two after my current course of Human Resouce mgmt. expires in April 2018 ,what are the procedures to apply for study permit extension.

2) If i my study permit is only valid till Sept 2017 - April 2018 as long as the course is should i leave Canada after April and come back here again if i get my study permit for my second course or as some of my friends say they have a 90 day grace period where i can decide i have to apply for PGWP or Study permit extension can someone shed light how this situation works.

basically i want to get 2 year or 3 year PGWP so i am doing either 1 PG diploma + 1 PG diploma or 1 PG diploma + MBA so how should the procedure of study permit extension go.

2. Incorrect. You must apply for an extension before the expiry of current permit. 90 days grace period is only for PGWP.

But am confused say if my course is from Sept-April only for 8 months will i get a Study permit for 8 months or 12 months? And if my course ends in April i want to do another course in Sept following year. How do i go about applying for study permit or College/Uni admission without me not yet finishing my first course in April ?

The thumb rule for study permit validity is the "end date" of the said program + 90 days. For example: if someone's program ends on Aug 01, the visa would be valid till Nov 01 or nearabouts.

However, since the end date date is only tentative on the offer letter and can vary, you are considered on valid status either till 90 days of your last day at the college/university or the study visa validity. The application for a subsequent PGWP or study permit extension would have to be made within that timeline. Hope it helps

Thanks a lot Concorde so if my Course finishes in April and my study permit expires 90 days after that i have to apply at least by April end for extension am i right?
