DOUBT ON MEDICAL TESTS

Hi,

My family has been here with me since 2010 and i am on a work permit valid until Dec 2014 and have applied for PR in May 2013. I sent my son to a school in India this May. I am applying for an open study permit so that he can join me at the end of his school term. My query is whether the Medical examination for the purpose of Visa is the same as the one for PR. I expect the call for medicals for PR to come shortly. Can i have my son undergo the pre-medical for PR and show it for the medical for Visa or should there be two medical tests separately for each purpose. Guidance on the issue appreciated.

Hi,
You can use the medicals for both visitor visa and PR application, if you use them with in a year of medical test date.
