Does anyone know whether or not a person's name can be included in 2 different LMIA applications from separate employers? Obviously only one of them would be used if both came back positive but can the process work this way?

one of your employer waste their money for filing lmo for you.
It's not for me actually, but it's a pretty complicated case to explain and both employers are aware of it and willing to do it. They were both planning to apply for LMIAs anyway, the initial plan was to be one closed and one open (so if the first one was negative, the second employer would add the name to his, if not, he would add another employee) but time is really of the essence right now, so the question is still whether or not they can do it.

We wouldn't want the employee to have any kind of trouble or LMIAs receiving a negative answer due to the fact the name would be on both. If they both came back positive, the second one would just change the name
