I don't want to claim points for my wife's education. She has a master's degree, i don't want to go through the process of applying for WES verification process again, since my IElTS would expire soon. Has anyone done this before ?

You can do that. There is no problem in that.

Just worried , whether iRCC will take it as misrepresenting facts. Is this a common practice ? Sorry to be too bothering.
Since you are not claiming points. Why do you think it as misrepresenting? In PR application your can mention her education under personal history.

You dont have to worry, you dont have to cheat. You can say she has masters, but you did not apply evaluation (WES or other). Both are true. And you can select it in the application.
Depending if she did from a very reputed university, you can get evaluation in one week to 10 days. But thats a different story.
