I plan to travel to Punta Cana. ,Dominican republic next month.I currently hold a RTD with no Pr yet (Application in progress).Do i need a Visa ? Has anyone travelled there recently what was the experience like in terms of Documents.Thank you!

There are several ways to travel to the Dominican Republic without a visa:

• Have a valid Canadian multiple-entry visa.
• Have Canadian Permanent Residence.
• Have a Canadian Refugee Document.
• Have a valid U.S. visa.

If you have any of these documents, you can travel to the Dominican Republic without needing an additional visa.

Planning to travel to DR, my RTD valid for 5 months of when I travel, did anyone have trouble boarding? Worried gate agent will deny boarding because it’s not 6 months..
