Hi Folks

I applied for my parents immigration last year and i have received medical request and PCC for them few weeks ago. Now my parents are visiting me here in Canada on Super Visa. Is it possible for me to submit medical request and PCC along with some other documents they requested from within Canada? Do they have to go back to India to get their Landing done and passport stamping or i can get it done within Canada?

I don't want them to make a special trip to India to get their passport stamping done

Thanks
AJ

yes, you can submit everything from within canada.

if they receive a passport request when they are in canada, they may have the option to send their passports to Ottawa for processing so they do not need to go back to submit it to their visa office abroad. the passport request letter will have information about how to do this if they are currently in canada. otherwise, you would need to contact the ND visa office and ask them. getting a request for medical and PCC doesn't guarantee they will receive their passport request soon. they could very well be back home when they get approved.

If your parents receive their visa and COPR while in canada, they don't have to fly back to india to land. What you can do is go to the us border and "flagpole". Essentially, you drive to the us border ask to be turned around and drive back to canada. once at the canada border, they will initiate the landing procedure. if this is not an option, they may be able to make an appointment with a local CIC office and land there. It can take weeks to get an appointment.
