Hi All,
Is the system set up so that doing full-time internship in Canada while pursuing a PhD is impossible? PhD students usually are students all round the year (they don't have scheduled breaks). So, they cannot use their study permits to work off-campus. If they take a leave-of-absence, they have to get a work permit, since they cannot use their study permit. Getting a work permit is almost impossible. So, I don't see a way to do it.
Are there any Phd students in this forum who successfully did their internship in Canada?
