Does your Noc have anything to do with how fast or slow your processed??

While responding to the "why is buffalo so slow" post I got to thinking... I noticed ALOT of you are 0213 (IT). Do you think that your Noc may have a impact on how fast or slow application is processed? From this board it appears there are alot of H1B holders here applying as well. Wondering if being a citizen will help me or if I am in the same boat waiting possibly a year and a half or two years? What do you guys think? I'm not 0213 BTW. I am 3233.

I don't think. I believe there are so many American who has been refused visas and many from third world countries are getting visas etc.

So, simple means, your nationality etc .. in my personal view has nothing to do with visa decision from CIC. If fill all their requirements, that all. About NOC, yes, I have read too, there are many occupation/NOC where application are being approved quicker then other, but that depends of course of case by case situation.

i dodnt think so that it depends upon NOC category....rupeshwari is also 4131 category...and there one more memeber having same category.....he applied after rupeshwari...and got approved.....

I don't think the NOC matters, the process is just confusing and arbitrary and, though not designed to make us paranoid and crazy, it makes us paranoid and crazy. Keep in mind also that there's a ton of people applying through 0213 and that group may be slightly more likely to gravitate towards message boards and, you know, 0213s are already a whiney group by nature so you may just be seeing a skewed sample here for 0213 with delays and problems.

I am wondering (though I know nothing about it) if you, in particular, would be more successful faster with arranged employment, I got the impression nurses were in high demand in all provinces.

To some extend NOC does matter in my opinion but its classified.
