I was calculating my points by looking at Comprehensive Ranking Sytem.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I have total 10 years of work experience in India but it won't add any point directly. Only if I get 8,7,7,7 in IELTS I will get 25 points. Am I correct in my understanding of CRS?

You will get max skill transferability points for work experience and education only if you get at least CLB 9 in all levels of IELTS.

Work experience counts and has separate points. To answer your question put in subject of thread - yes India or any experience counts - it is treated as foreign experience ( as its outside Canada). For Canada experience you get additional points.

I am little confused here. Will I get the 80 points for experience mentioned in Section A Core/ human capital factor on the following link?

Thanks Hope. As I understand it, there is no way I will get near to ITA cutoff score unless I work in Canada for couple of years or have an employment offer through Canada Job bank. I will try the CIC CRS calculator.
