Does the UCI number stay the same with second application of visa?

I had a query regarding UCI number, as im not getting any updates, i was wondering if the UCI number with the first application has to be linked with the current one. Currently i have different uci number on my gc key with the second application of study permit

Each application is its own thing, a UCI number is just an identifier its one of the ways to look up your application but there is nothing like it has to match between applications.

UCI is also not an application identifier it is identifier for the person "CLIENT" so multiple applications could have the same UCI is you filled the UCI correctly in the form but they don't have to be the same. So nothing to worry about here.

I have a same problem currently which is I had applied for a student visa for Canada in 2019 and it failed but I already gave my biometrics by then. now currently I am applying for visit visa for Canada and my old biometrics number is not showing and also the UCI number is different it has been a week and it still didn't reflect. the only document that was changes was that I renewed my old passport that I use back then.
