Hey Guys,

Does implied work-permit status counts as eligible experience for express entry?

Scenario: I was a student until Aug end. I applied my PGWP on Sept 6th and started working as full time on Sept 10th but my work permit was issued on November 9 . So, my question is, Does my experience gained during implied status counts? Will my experience from Sept 10th to Nov 9 will count towards an express entry 1-year Canadian experience.

Secondly, is there anybody in this group with the same situation as mine and received a PR? Just for my satisfaction, I also looking for confirmation from somebody if they have similar experience and received a PR.

Thank you In advance.

Absolutely it does count. The time you worked on implied status is legitimate work experience that can be counted for your 1 year work experience. It's also stated so in the CIC website. Look it up!

I personally don't have a similar experience but I have a couple of friends who worked on implied status and got their pr just fine.
