Does owning less than 49% of a business and also being on a Payroll count as Canadian Experience?

I am the manager of a restaurant in which I own 25% of the business along with 2 other partners owning the rest.
I am on a payroll for the position that I hold.

- Does this count as Canadian Experience in Express Entry?
- Can I include a Job offer with LMIA from this business for myself?

- Only if you are physically in Canada and working for the business on an approved work permit.
- You can certainly try.

Well, I'm not gonna try it if I'm not certain about it for sure. Unfortunately, there is no authentic source to discuss this, but I consulted with a lawyer and she said as long as you benefit from the business, it is considered slef-employment, yet, not considered as CEC.

Self-employment is not considered under CEC. That is correct.
