DOES MAILING/CALLING EMBASSY LEAVES NEGATIVE IMPACT ON VISA????

FOR EG. if we have applied for visa under spp. and we want to enquire about it by directly contacting embassy, does it create any chances of visa refusal?

It shouldn't be an issue of negative impact in any case. They will rely on your file for such decisions, that is negative or positive.

But I would advice against it. Its been around 9 days since you applied but CHD CHC takes about 7-10 days in October itself, so expect around 15-20 now. When I joined I went through all old posts to check how much time does it take for people to receive their VISA and I can say for most of the people applying in November it was 18-20 days (holidays included). People who applied on 20th November or even after that that is 25th got it in about 20 days, I remember 3 friends applying together on 18th November and getting their VISA on 6th December. But then there were a few isolated cases where people were waiting even after 20 days.
