Does LMIA-exempt job count towards the 1 year CEC minimum working requirement?

Hi, I am planning on doing a postdoc in Canada, but postdoc fellow is a LMIA exempt job. I wondered whether the LMIA exempt working experience counts toward the minimum 1 year working experience to enter CEC?
