Does contractual job experience counts in CEC or only permanent job experience?

Hi All,

Please guide me that if someone has 1 year job experience but job is contract based, then will he/she be eligible for CEC? or he/she have to have a 1 year permanent job experience?

As long as it's paid one year job or equal amount of part time positions and falls under NOC 0,A or B then the applicant is eligible.

Just a note that self-employed does not (as far as I am aware but I could be wrong,). Contractual as long as the other can be deemed as an employer will be ok.

And just out of curiosity, i am wondering How much is the IELTS score required in each band and overall to be eligible for CEC?
