does cic keep previous documents?

Hello all,
I have applied under CEC before 1 wweek. In 2013 I applied for my multiple visa(after getting my 3 year p.g wrkpermit). That time I have submited employer letter in visa application process.so question is
DOES CIC CHECK ANY OF OUR PREVIOUS LETTERS SUBMITED WHILE PROCESSING MY P.R FILE??
PLZ HELP.THNXXXX

I agree. It's possible. However, it's highly unlikely.

The VO's have a lot of applications to work on. So, I would imagine they look at your current application and evaluate it on its merits. I have never heard of a case where VO's have rejected someone for mismatch with their earlier WP applications.

Yea, I would imagine that legally they have to keep documents for X number of years. They're so busy that the likelihood of them looking is slim, unless they are given a suspicious/particular reason to look back.

They actually have the documents and may look at it. I say this because they did not ask me to submit PCC from my home country. And in my GCMS notes there is a note saying the applicant submitted PCC when originally applying for study permit from within her country of origin.
I applied for study permit 6 years ago and have been living in Canada since then.

+1 to ferna. I have read cases where primary applicant did not receive MR because the results were taken from their WP MR. So yes. But the question is why you are worried about the prev letter ?

Well , emp letter I submited while applied for visa after study, stating that I am working as suprvisor.and $$ pay rate. I came back from my back home and promoted as assistant manager with same pay$$ (supervisor). Though this case seems fake.. but its not.
Bcoz at work 1 employee left the job, my owner make the changes in post but not in the pay.
So on paper I am sandwich artist around 8 months part time.
4 months full time supervisor.
And thn assist manger till presnt date(more than 12 months)
I applied as assist.mnger. soo now you guys tell me am I safe or should worry. Plz help

Did you have any official document stating your promotion? If so I would say submitting that could clear lot of things. Thats my opinion.

Well, not official doc. All I have is emp letter, where he mentioned all promotions.

When everything is mentioned clearly and in an un-suspicious way, there should not be any issues. CIC might request for additional documents if required. Its just a waiting game.

btw now days cic call to employer for inquiry. When can we expect this call? Befor AOR or After AOR? Any idea?
