Does CEC application need IMM 5401?

Hi guys,

For paying the fees to apply for CEC, do I need to obtain an IMM 5401 or do I only need to send a bank draft?
I am applying in Canada.

I noticed on Buffalo's website http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng that there a line:

Please note: All fees for Family Class applicants must be submitted to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario using an official fee receipt (IMM5401).

I wonder if this requirement also applies to the CEC application with family members. For example, I am the principle applicant, and my wife is also included in the application.

that is for family class category. I believe you are not a PR yet. if you were sponsoring your wife or child then you would pay locally. Since you are applying yourself as a principle applicant you need to make one draft which includes fees for all.
