Does a job whose start date is greater than the 10 year mark, but duration of work within 10 years, still considered as valid work experience for EE?

Hey all,

I've been employed between Sept 2010 to Aug 2012(my first job), in a particular job, and have 2.10 years of work experience in addition to it.
If I apply for Express entry, post september,say in October, will the first job's experience still be considered? Like, it would be short of a month, (since only past 10 years are considered). Query I have is, would the entire work experience be omitted, since start date is before 10 years ? Or just the duration of the first job, that is beyond the 10 year mark??
Can clarify my query if the explanation is a tad confusing! But would really appreciate a response! Very worried, since I would be short of the 3 year requirement pointswise!

Only the portion that is within the 10 years prior to the date of application.
