Documents required to be shown in college admissions

I'm interested for September intake in seneca for bachelor of technology in software development (honours). However, my final semester is still in progress of diploma in engineering, my consultancy told me to bring each and every copy of the results that i have till now, which can be a bit of trouble, also someone currently in seneca advised me to just provide transcript it might higher your chances for admission. And when i told my consultancy about only transcript thing they said, no no colleges don't give admission on transcript they will demand all the results. Is it true?or my consultancy
