Seniors.... need your help again....

Today I received a mail from CIC asking me to submit my PCC documents to them, however, I have sent all the original documents to the following address which got delivered on 8th November 2013

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Canadian Experience Class
Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

In the mail, they have asked me to send the documents to;

Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor, Section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1

The officer who is processing my application is KH5229.

I have replied to that mail stating that I have sent the original documents to the Central Intake Office and requested them to consider that.

Do you think this will get processed or do I need to run again to get the required PCC?

Please advice.

Was it sent with your application or separately?

Jaihanuman - based on your previous post, you sent pcc in march 2013. Do you mean to say you sent in march and cic received in June?

Your PCC shouldn't be older than three months, maybe the last one was older than that and that's why
they requested a new PCC?

Just make sure you send it to CPP-O stating all information in a letter for them to find your application ( ie file number, name and dob )

Toby..... would you be able to provide the CIC link where it states the PCC shouldnt be older than three months? I am unable to find that information

:(

The reason is, my PCC is certainly older than 3 months, thats why :(

Absolutely,

The certificate must have been issued no more than three (3) months prior to submitting your application. If the original certificate is not in English or French, then you will need to submit both the certificate and the original copy of the translation prepared by an accredited translator.

.. from the CEC instruction guide.

CIC website as well:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

"Who needs a police certificate?

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply." meaning: no more than 3 months before you give to CIC

Yes, same counts for PCCs submitted later on tho, not older than three months prior to submitting them.

Thank you very much Toby and CEC, let me work out on getting a new PCC and send it to them.

I disagree. I think the issue is the certificate has potentially been lost.

I would suggest you contact CIO with the tracking details and see if they have it. if so, get them to send it onto CPPO.

Much higher chance of the document being lost than rejected for being expired.

JSM... I have already sent a mail to the officer with all the details and awaiting reply. It was sent through India Speed Post and I have the entire tracking information with me, it was delivered on 8th November.

I wish they are able to track this and accept it.

Hoping for the good.

Yes you have, but you sent the PCC to the wrong office.

Contacting that office, will only help your case. It won't have any negative implications.

May I ask when the pcc was issued and when did you send?

The pcc that you sent in June -

When was it issued? Please note that the date of issue cannot be more than 3 months before.
Did cpp-Ottawa confirm that pcc is received and added to file?

That was received in the same month and sent it to CPP0Ottawa.
