Hello there,

I have been working in Canada for over a year under PGWP. Since I had a good saving balance, I was nominated for Express entry under both FSW and CECn and surprisingly I got my invitation under FSW. I had some questions regarding the documents required though.

1. Police Certificate - I have been in Canada for past 4.5 years. Should I contact Indian Embassy here for one or Should I ask my parents to Contact Local SSP in my Hometown to get one?

2. Proof of Medical Exam - Do I need this, since I have been living in Canada for past 4.5 years?

Any help will be highly appreciated. Regards

You need the medical.

There are directions on the website for getting police reports, which you need for each country you lived in for more than 6 continuous months since you were 18 (except Canada). How you get that may be up to you - and if they will release it to your mother, that might be fastest - but there is a list of the usual way to get it from each country.

You can submit a application at BLS office in Canada for getting Indian PCC. Generally takes less than 25days.
