Hello

I want to know what would be the perfect time in order to apply for admission. Can I apply for Masters admission in Canadian university before getting my Bachelors transcript ??

What are the most common documents required in order to apply for admission?? Can I apply on prospective basis??

Do I have to wait for my university to finish or I can apply before or immediately after the exams of my final semester??

Thanks.

If u apply without your final year transcript and u get admission the they will give u conditional letter. The unconditional letter will be provided to u when u give them your final transcript.
The most common documents for admission are...
..Application forms
..Letters of reference
..Experience letters if any
..IELTS score card
..GRE/GMAT if required
..other documents required by university

As Stated by momi.. You can apply without your final transcripts, on that basis if approved, you will be provided with the Conditional offer letter..

In my view, you should not wait for your final transcripts, apply as soon as possible. Once you will have your offer(Conditional), you can apply for the formalities such as Bank loan(If any).. By the time your formalities get over, you will be having your results and thus the Unconditional offer letter..

It will save ample of time for sure..

Documents:

1)Application (online, with the payment of $100-$150, generally)

2)Letter of Reference (By professor/Asst Professor) 2 or 3 (Sometimes)

3)Statement of Purpose (A 250-300 word essay, explaining your future goals as well as ur past activities and your achievements, along with the explanation that why you want to study in that particular university)

4)Transcripts (upto that semester whos result had been declared)

5)Resume/CV (sometimes)

6)TOEFL/IELTS Scorecard (forwarded directly from the organizing institution)

Some more docs, as requested by the university.

I hope you it will help you.

My CGPA up to 7th semester is 2.88. After my final semester, I will be given a chance to appear in improvement examinations. It can increase my overall GPA and hopefully I will be reaching 3.00 at least. What do you recommend, should I apply with my current transcripts (up to 7th semester) or I should apply after final semester and after improvement examinations?

If I choose to apply after final semester, I think the deadline would have been passed for 2013... :( Please help...

Without improvement examinations you cant improve your CGPA , which can lead to a rejection of admission so wait for the full and final transcript and try to improve your CGPA above 3 then you should apply.............

Usually the University fees are paid when you reach there after getting visa, Some universities ask for admission confirmation fees which are around 250$ which is not a big deal.............

Okay. And when do we have to give the medical ??
If you are from Pakistan CHC will ask you to do medical, but if you are from India then you can do medical before applying for visa.............check according to your country..............

Okay so according to my research, this will be the step by step application process to admission for masters in Canada:

1) First I will choose the program and learn about it's requirements, deadlines.
2) Then I will file an initial application with scanned copies of my up-to-date documents and an application fee.
3) In case university grants me unofficial admission, I will be required to submit official documents including transcripts, medical, reference letters, etc.
4) After submitting these documents to the university, I will be getting official acceptance letter.
5) I will be submitting this official letter of acceptance along with my passport to CHC
6) CHC will conduct medical and interview?
7) I will get visa. (inshALLAH)

Please confirm if I am correct or if there are any other steps in between too...

Thanks.

1. University will not accept scanned copies you will send photocopies attested from the issuing institute....
2. No need to submit medical to university........
3. If you are from Pakistan or India then interviews are very rare...........
