Not needed at all. The only documents that possibly need to be notarized are self-declaration style reference letters by ex-colleagues/supervisors.swsood1686 said:Someone advised my cousin to get all the documents notarized before uploading on cic web page after receiving ITA.

Do you know if they would need to be legalized though (issued by a government office, then stamped by the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a Canadian Embassy), or is that not needed as well?Asivad Anac said:Not needed at all. I imagine that won't be needed either.Tocanadawego said:Do you know if they would need to be legalized though (issued by a government office, then stamped by the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a Canadian Embassy), or is that not needed as well?
What is meant here by 'self-declaration style'?Asivad Anac said:Not needed at all. The only documents that possibly need to be notarized are self-declaration style reference letters by ex-colleagues/supervisors.
Reference letters which are self-declared rather than provided in the person's official capacity as a supervisor/HR manager for instance. Official letters will be printed on company letterhead while self-declared letters won't.forcanada said:What is meant here by 'self-declaration style'?
