Hello
I am working as shift supervisor in fast food restaurant and I will apply for CEC within next 2 months. My question is what other documents I need from my employer except job letter.
Thanks

Your most recent T4. A photocopy of your most recent paystub might not hurt.

Hi Jes,

Do we need to attach 24 months paystubs (All) with the application If I have 2 yrs experience? or only the recent one is enough?

now that it is a 1 year rule, for safety attach last 13 months pay stub

8,000 paystubs wouldn't help if you don't have a letter of employment. A paystub cannot attest to your job duties and responsibilities.

Disagree. There is no need to attach copies of paystubs, unless there is a purpose to doing so, such as ...
- Your most recent T4 only covers a few months. In most cases, the most recent paystub will show cumulative (year-to-date) information and that will be sufficient.
- You work part-time and need to demonstrate the full-time equivalent in hours.

I've seen people refused for attaching pay stubs, because of discrepancies between those and the letter of reference. It is not a required document, so unless you NEED to submit a copy, it's better not to.

He is right, can you get the appointment letter or job contract. Only thing is its too much pain to get rejected after waiting for a year

Do you need an explanation letter if you are unable to have reference letter but have your offer employment that shows the responsibilities and duties?

Yes, you would need to write letter of explanation, but you have to understand that it will probably not work.

The offer helps, but since it was written before you did the work, it doesn't prove you did the work.

If you absolutely cannot get the letter, your best hope is to document the company's refusal to provide it - get it in writing (e.g. email reply stating they won't do it). And then in your Letter of explanation, provide the name and contact information of someone in the company who can verbally confirm your experience.

You can attach a letter that your employer is unwilling to provide you with reference as its not in company policy to submit letters for immigration purpose. Tallk about attachments offer letter which describe your duties, pay slip and T4 for number of hours
But attach your offer which says about your hours, pay and job duties.
Its always good to explain things.

If my employer provided a letter without job duties and not mentioned number of hour worked, but they have written full time basis.
In my pay stubs, my monthly hours are mentioned, please let me knowif that will work.
For job duties, I have sent them an email to include, but they are saying they can give thin in a standard template only. Can I send this email to CIC, with a letter that they are giving me reference letter in standard format only. Also I will attach my initial offer letter which they have given me for filing work permit and my duties emntioned there.
Please suggest if this will work.
