Hi,

I was about to start scanning all my boarding passes, hotel receipts etc from visits I made to my wife... to then print on A4 paper.

Then I read it says to keep photos loose, and not in a collage style on a page. Does this apply to "documentary evidence" as well? Most of it is considerably smaller then an A4 and I don't want to hand them a sleeve of jumbled receipts, I would to present them in a clear manner.

I guess my question is wether or not I should send copies of the "documentary evidence" or the originals. It sounds silly to be debating the potential weight of the application on this, but it has quite a lot of sentimental value to both of us and I'm afraid if I include it, they won't send it back.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It's loose as opposed to bound. Photocopied or scanned onto A4 is fine.

hi.

like matthewc said, photocopies or scanned copies of the originals are fine.

we inserted our photos into ms word (i managed to fit 2 photos to one A4 page) and under each photo i wrote/typed a caption of who was in the photo, where it was taken and the month/year.

as for copies of receipts, plane tickets, etc, we just photocopied the originals or printed out the e-tickets (since we still had them in our inbox's) and again i hand-wrote a caption for each document explaining what is was.

we got approved last week (i sent my passport to the embassy), so they had no problems with that type of layout/information.

hope that helps!
