Hi punky_brewster!

Why do you need a firm to do that? Was is requested specifically by CEM? If not, then you may consider contacting an English Teacher to do it for you... or a lawyer, perhaps. What was mentioned in the instruction is that "A RELATIVE MAY NOT DO THE TRANSLATION FOR YOU."

My husband's letter of appointment was translated by an English teacher. It was accompanied by the affidavit from the translator and a notarized copy of the original appointment.

I don't know if it worked because my current status is still "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE" but although I am not an expert on this, I firmly believe that it should work. Just in case it will not be satisfactory for them, they will request for more supporting documents.

Just PM me if you need more info. God bless.
