Hello !
We are currently working on our common law sponsorship forms and I'm reviewing the document checklist to see what would be required. In part B question 5- employment/source of income I've come across a slight problem. I am currently on Mat leave receiving EI benefits until September. Between the two of us we are able to support ourselves. Would I put that I am not working and just show my ei benefit and in the detailed explanation can I include his income as well (he works full time in Canada) ?
Thanks in advance !

You should be able to contact you employer and as for a letter confirming employment. I did

I see what you're saying ! Thank you !
This means you ARE employed. Just because you are off on mat leave, doesnt mean you dont have a job. I needed the LOE for childcare subsidy and got it no problem. Contact hr
