Hi doctor,
This is a good idea that we should join hands in this forum and discuss our problems.
I sent my docs on 26th june but I didnt get any AOR or Medical uptill now. My ecase status is " IN PROCESS'' right from the begining and is still the same.
Since it has been about 6 months since I have sent the full docs, why am I not getting any response?
Any comments?

We could discuss here opportunities for working as MD in Canada (exams, temporary work before getting residency etc).

My timelines:
Docs sent to CIC: Feb 20, 2009
AOR: March 24
Full docs sent to Beijing office: July 20
Request for full docs: August 1
Medicals, RPFP and passports sent: August 10
Repeated medicals sent: November 20
Waiting for passports. Seems too long.

i have sent the application to NS 7-10-2009 and received at 15-10-2009
Untill now no further information
is there a similar case and does anyone have an information about the what affects the speed of replying.

Hi,

My wife is an MBBS with 5 years experience...1 Year house job (GP) + 4 years resident training in Pathology ( Resident for specialist Training). I have already applied under NOC 0213 last year. Please confirm:

If someone can kindly tell that:
if she can use all 5 years of experience to claim points under NOC 3112 and 3111 &
If she can apply in parallel as main applicant although I have applied already with her as main dependent..

yes u can apply as ur wief principal applicant and she will get full marks experience

what I just forgot to mention was that she has not taken her Part2 or final specialist exam as yet. Although, she has completed 4 years of job as pathologist. (all reference letters and work experience certificates are with her).

Is it a condition to have another degree besides MBBS to apply as a specialist or not. Does she need to register somewhere in Canada with a professional body as well?

Can she claim points for MBBS Degree: 20, Work Experience: 21

If she cant apply as Specialist, will her first year of job as GP and later 4 years in pathology be considered in GP NOC Role?
