My mother is currenly in Canada as a visitor. She wants to apply for a Visitor Record Extension.
She entered Canada in May with her Super Visa and was given a 6-month stay because her Super Visa was expiring in June.
Now her Super Visa has expired but her stay in Canada is valid until November.
She was not sure if she could apply for an extention of stay with an expired TRV.
From what I undertand, TRV is the docment you need to enter Canada and Visitor Record is either the stamp or the hand written date in passport that indicates the length of stay in Canada. But I'm know if you have to keep both document valid when you apply for an extension. Thank you very much.
