do you need a 1 year work experience for EE?

hey

so my friend used the crs tool and got a score of 439 points. but he does not have ANY qualifying job experience. so under job experience he put none or less than 1 year and still got the result of 439 points based on his education basically.

my question is, is he qualified to apply under any program without job experience? confused because the crs tool is showing the scroe and not saying that he is not qualified to apply.

No, he does not qualify.

A candidate must have at least one year of skilled work experience in NOC list. This will have to be backed by employment reference letter and upon request a proof of payment (pay stubs etc). If he can pull this off, then he qualifies.
