Once you apply for the new SIN number your previous one gets expired. So it's best to notify your employer after you change your SIN.

You don't have to notify previous employers about the new SIN when you do your taxes, CRA will marry up the 2 SINs.

Anyone can share some experience with me? Many thanks
As PMM said above, only need to inform your current employer. Your old SIN number will be tied to your new one by CRA.
