Hey guys,

Quick question: do you have to be employed to apply for bridging work permit while your PR application in under review? OR, can you apply if you are unemployed? I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks!

You don't have to be employed. However you must have a valid work permit.

So now, I have open work permit, valid until June, 2019. I'm also working for a company in Canada, however, I'm planning to quit. Can I still apply for bridging work permit? My partner also has open work permit, but doesn't not work.
