Do you get your application/proof back after approval.?

Do you get back any part of your application in the mail? I went to the visa office to get my visa.

Some forum members have reported that they got their photos and other original evidence sent back; others have reported that they didn't. It seems to depend on the visa office.
If they don't send it back after you've gotten the visa, try sending a letter asking for photos and other originals to be sent back. I didn't get my photos back until I sent a letter asking for them.

I know London occasionally sends photos ect back but I've never heard of Buffalo returning anything.

My husband went through Buffalo. Received nothing back.

thanks everyone... i was just wondering bc i dont live in the old address and dont want people reading personal stuff in the app, i rather the visa office just toss it out
