Do we have to notify CIC about a change in address?

Hi, everyone! My husband (PR since June 2016) and I recently bought a house. I can't find it on the CIC website but I think I remember reading something back then about notifying them about any address changes. That might have been during the application process though - I'm just not sure.

So, now that we've moved, is there anything we need to do with his PR card? Do we need to update the address with CIC? Or is it just a matter of waiting until it's time to renew?

No you don't need to notify CIC about this address change.

However don't forget to update following two about address change.

Medical health Card
Driving licence

This information is important. Some deadlines are tight. For example, in Ontario you must notify the change of address for your driver's licence within 6 days, whereas for the health card you can do it within 30 days. But check the official websites to be sure of this information.
