Do US outland applicants get the request to send their passport to immigration?

I'm reading contradicting things about the request for passports. My status changed to "decision made" on April 24th. Immigration never requested passports from us. Does the passport request normally happen before or after the "decision made" status. And does the passport request also apply to applicants living in the US? Thank you!

According to your other thread... you rec'd the following from CIC


"Your confirmation of permanent residency has already been sent to you ( on the 24th of April 2013). "

As you are from a visa exempt country it would appear that they do not require your passport... You are done.

It entirely depends on the officer. But it sounds like you are just waiting on the COPR now
