Hi all,
I submitted my express entry profile 40 or 50 days ago but I want to withdraw it due to the backlog and apply for a temporary resident visa.

Now my question is: Will Canada know that I had an express entry profile if I delete it at this stage?

Two separate processes so you don't need to withdraw your EE profile. For a TRV, you are coming as a visitor so you can't work, must show funds, travel history, ties to home country, reasons to travel etc. EE is PR so a different approval process.
 
Separate processes but I can't apply for a TRV while having an active EE profile cuz that means I'm interested in staying in Canada so my TRV application will get rejected.

Never heard of that. Please send the link to that information. Many people do apply for TRV with an active profile. As said above, you need to show reasons to travel, funds, ties etc.
