I am wondering if the receipts provided as a common law proof need to be notarized as well? I might be overthinking. Please help thanks!

Generally no. Are they in English or French? If so, no.

If not you'll have to get certified translation. That's not notarisation exactly but in some countries may involve a notary.

Do Canadian ID's need to be notarized too? Like the photocopies of these ID's?
